At DIGITEL TS, we are celebrating the first anniversary of DOME Marketplace, the European platform that is revolutionising the way public and private organisations access Cloud and Edge services.
A collaborative European ecosystem
Since mid-2024, DOME Marketplace has been working to resolve the fragmentation of the European cloud and edge services market. Backed by the European Commission and a consortium of more than 40 partners, including DIGITEL TS, the project connects infrastructure and platform providers, service integrators, certification bodies and customers from different sectors.
Thanks to this federated model, a pan-European digital ecosystem has been created that is aligned with the values of the European Union and with the objectives of technological and regulatory sovereignty.
Progress in the first year
In just twelve months, the marketplace catalogue has grown from 72 to nearly 120 available solutions, with new additions every week. Notable features include:
- Publication of offers with visible prices and online contracting.
- Integrated management tools: orders, invoicing, and payments.
- Flexible options for suppliers, from full automation to manual service management.
Added value for suppliers and buyers
In addition to technical improvements, the platform generates specific benefits for each profile:
- Providers: increase their visibility across Europe thanks to publication on multiple federated marketplaces and can access new customers with less commercial effort.
- Buyers: find a broader and more diverse catalogue, with the confidence that the services meet European standards of transparency and digital sovereignty. This facilitates informed and confident decision-making in your technology procurement processes.
Looking ahead
The project team continues to work on new features based on feedback from the community. Among the upcoming developments, the following stand out:
