Conformity testing based on international standards
To achieve this, the event organizers have made a series of test cases available to participants, including negative cases with incorrect credentials, which allow participants to determine if their individual implementations correctly conform to the different standards that define the EAA format: ETSI TS 119 472-1 and ISO 18013-5.

Verification between participants as the cornerstone of interoperability
The most striking feature of this event is its way of validating credentials. Although the platform has its own automatic validator, the focus is on peer verification: each participant will not only have to issue credentials that fit the different test cases but also be able to verify if the EAA issued by other participants meet the requirements as well.
This approach significantly enhances interoperability across different implementations, giving providers flexibility in delivering their products, regardless of whether they act as issuer, validator or holder.
